Valentine Forbidden Words Printable Game

Think you can describe Cupid without saying arrow, wings, or cherub? Or chocolate without saying candy, cocoa, or Hershey?

Valentine Forbidden Words is a fast-paced printable guessing game where the obvious clues are completely off-limits. Players race against the clock to get their teammates to guess Valentine-themed words without using any of the five forbidden words listed on the card.

With 120 different game cards, there are plenty of clues to keep everyone playing—from Valentine favorites like hearts, flowers, candy, Cupid, and romance to date nights, love songs, fairy tales, weddings, and Galentine’s Day.

How to Play

Divide into two teams and shuffle the cards. One player draws a card and has 60 seconds to describe the word at the top without saying the word itself—or any of the five forbidden words underneath it.

Guess correctly and your team earns a point. Say a forbidden word and the card is out! Keep switching teams until one team reaches 20 points and wins. Full instructions are included, so it’s easy to print, cut, and start playing.
